Arbortext Styler
Easily create stylesheets for editing and multichannel publishing

Arbortext Styler makes it easy to create and maintain stylesheets for publishing to multiple types of output media.

Arbortext Styler represents an innovative breakthrough in stylesheet design tools, for the first time giving designers the power to create XML-based stylesheets for automated publishing without the programming.

Stylesheets are used by Arbortext Publishing Engine to transform XML content to HTML and Web pages, print or PDF, HTML Help, Microsoft Word and wireless devices. In addition, Arbortext Editor, Arbortext Contributor and Arbortext Companion for MS Word can use stylesheets to define formatting for the editing.

Key Benefits

Reduces Publishing Costs
Helps reduce the high cost of publishing by enabling you to develop and maintain stylesheets for multiple output types in a single user interface.

Increases Productivity
In traditional desktop publishing processes, different skills and processes are required to develop and maintain templates and styles for each supported output type. With Arbortext Styler, the same set of skills can be applied to developing stylesheets for all output types. Furthermore, a single stylesheet can support multiple outputs, enabling you to create a single source of style and reduce stylesheet development and maintenance costs.

Reduces Need for Specialized Skills
Arbortext Styler simplifies stylesheet creation and puts it in the hands of designers to reduce or eliminate the need for specialized programming skills.

Reduces Maintenance Costs
With a single stylesheet, you can control publishing for multiple output types. Share formatting across media types, or set up unique formatting for specific media types–all within the same stylesheet. This eliminates the need to develop and maintain multiple stylesheets for multiple types of media.
Arbortext Styler allows you to create a single source of style by supporting multiple output types in a single stylesheet. Specify styles for all output types or a single output.
