A hydraulically actuated dryer felt roll was added that allows movement of the roll "on the run" by synchronizing tending side and drive side roll movement using hydraulic flow dividers. The new arrangement allows an open-draw condition between press and dryer during sheet break and thread up and a closed-draw condition during production conditions |
