This session will cover how data is moved and shared from PDMLink, to ProjectLink, out to your supply chain and back again. This process has some options we’ll explore including: security and permissions, checkout/in and who “owns” the data, and what sort of tools are available for you to track the data and receive timely feedback.

Are you using Creo Parametric NC Solutions out of the box? There are numerous techniques to automate and streamline your work, to generate toolpaths and to complete operations instantly. This overview will demonstrate the major techniques available, starting with the simple but often overlooked basics such as site files and mapkeys. We will also cover more complex and powerful tools such as user-defined features and autodrilling, and finally we will demonstrate the latest in comprehensive automation using XML templates and embedded annotations. Follow-on sessions will explore several of these functions in greater detail. [Customers with Active Maintenance]
Part designs often have different features and looks during various manufacturing applications such as castings, forgings, or in-process machining work pieces. In addition, production shops will sometimes need to modify part attributes such as bend allowances and radii in sheetmetal. All of these processes can make use of the Creo Inheritance Model feature, which allows for downstream modifications of parts while retaining full associativity with the original design or customer model. This tutorial will look at this powerful feature and how it can be profitably exploited by sophisticated design and manufacturing groups. [Customers with Active Maintenance]
Are you new to Creo NC? Or are you an old dog who has been re-creating that same half-inch end mill for every new program? This session will explain how to set up the NC environment for maximum efficiency. We will cover two topics: (1) Best Practices for Setting up Creo NC Solutions--how to configure the most common settings (workcells, tools, parameters, etc.) so that you can create programs efficiently without the bother of repetitive setup tasks. (2) Creating a Cutting Tools Speeds & Feeds Database--how to set up and use a library of ''smart'' cutting tools so that speeds, feeds, and cut depths are selected based on the cutting tool, the workpiece material, and the cutting condition. [Customers with Active Maintenance]
This webcast will cover all the basics of Creo Parametric Mold Design, including setup recommendations and the typical workflow for creating a core, cavity, and sliders. As a special bonus (and time permitting), we will cover several advanced techniques such as shutoffs, family tables, and others. [Customers with Active Maintenance]
Creo NC Solutions provide powerful tools for creating tool paths on 3-D geometry. But what about all those 2-D legacy drawings? Did you know that you can create programs for those, too? This webcast will review several techniques for programming directly on the 2-D geometry, as well as tips on how to build 3-D features quickly from the 2-D data. [Customers with Active Maintenance]
Hundreds of companies are improving their product quality by using analysis software early and upfront in the design process. Creo Simulate is rock solid and waiting to give you accurate answers that drive design improvement. We will cover the basics, including constraints, loads, setting up an analysis and reviewing the results. In addition, we will cover a few advanced techniques that are related to the user interface and improved result tools. You'll be surprised at how easy it is to use and learn.
